It was on 1st March 2009, at 8.40 P.M that Lakshita breathed the air for the first time on this earth. It was an exciting waiting for about 9 and a half months.
Uma and I were in US, due to some reasons she had to go back to chennai after 5th month. She was checking up with the Dr till 4th month and if we had waited for another month we would have known that it was a girl. But the waiting was infact good as it was a surprise in the end. I was telling uma that it would be a boy, not that I wanted a boy but just a intution or a guess you could call it. Uma actually loved a girl baby, reason being she can dress her up with varieties, get her lot of jewels, rings etc.
Once she went back in october it was so difficult for me to be alone. She was also missing me but was constantly asking me if I would get a chance to come to chennai officially. It was because I kept telling her that I might get a chance and will try my best. Just expected there was a project and needed to discuss with the offshore team. Luckily I got a chance to travel officially in December for a month. But I never told Uma that i'm coming and gave her a sweet surprise.
